Support & Safety

Support for VOID, developed and operated by Sorion Pty Ltd. We’re a small team and we read everything.

If you or someone else is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services now — 000 in Australia, 911 in the US. VOID is not an emergency service and can’t provide crisis intervention.

What we do

What we don’t do

Our reporting policy

How to report: on any Story, reply, or Private Line, open the safety actions and choose Report (or Report and block). You’ll pick a reason — including dedicated ones for minor safety and illegal content. Reporting is anonymous to the other person, always.

What happens next: reports enter a review queue ordered by severity — minor-safety reports are treated as critical, illegal content as high priority, and danger-to-life cases are escalated immediately. A human reviews the report against the Community Rules and the Terms (§7). The reported content and short surrounding context are preserved automatically as evidence while it’s reviewed. (Terms §11)

Outcomes: anything from no action (if no rule was broken) to content removal, feature limits, or a number-bound ban. Consequences are visible to the person they’re applied to; we don’t share their details or the outcome specifics with the reporter. Reports don’t automatically punish anyone — a person reviews before penalties bite, so reporting can’t be weaponised against views someone simply dislikes.

Blocking works instantly and doesn’t need a review: the blocked person can’t reach you again, in either direction, and is never told. Under a Story's replies you can also mute someone just for yourself.

One rule for reporters: never repost or forward illegal material — including to us by email. Report it in-app, or describe where it appeared, and we’ll handle it through the safety process.

What to send us

For support requests, include the phone number you signed up with (never send SMS codes or passwords), the device you are using, and a short description of what happened. For safety reports, use the in-app report button when possible so the right context is attached.

Common questions

Why did my post not send? It may have been held by safety moderation. The zero-tolerance list is in the Community Rules and Terms §7 — threats, harassment, anything involving minors, doxxing or contact details, encouraging self-harm, illegal content, spam and links. Expressing that you’re struggling is never blocked as a violation.

Where did my signal go? VOID is ephemeral — Stories and their replies expire by design and can’t be recovered.

How do I delete my account? See Account Deletion — including what little survives deletion and why.

How do subscriptions work? Manage or cancel VOID+ in your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. See the Terms §9 — including the good-standing condition on the closest Radar tier.

Mental health

If you’re struggling, you deserve real support. In Australia you can reach Lifeline on 13 11 14; in the US, call or text 988. VOID can’t replace professional help.
